It takes supernatural strength to walk with God.
If you will believe those things which Jesus has spoken, that he is in the midst of those who gather in his name; that he dwells in you; then you can interact with him. He so desperately wants to satisfy the needs of your body and soul, and all you need to do is believe him.
Those things God has commanded, he will not make you do; he is looking for volunteers.
Walking in Faith
Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
For everyone who is persistent in good works I grant to you glory honor and immortality because you are seeking eternal life.
God desires to fill every part of man and it is said here that everyone who is persistent in good works; obey the ways of the Lord.
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But wrath and anger unto those who refuse to walk in the truth. God’s wrath and anger burn against sin! There is no more horrible thought than the thought of the outer darkness and torment of hell; but to God, sin is much worse. It is so terrible that his eyes are too pure to behold that which is evil. God in the body of Jesus Christ subjected himself to the horrors of sin and the suffering of temptation and the lies of the satanic realm.
But he endured every temptation and assault of the enemy to say that it no longer has right. He has now commissioned that we can walk in glory and honor and immortality. Come boldly to the throne of grace through a new and living way, the veil of his flesh.
The glory of God should be so valuable to you and so sacred. Desperate for more and yet fearfully keeping all reverence before the Lord.
For everyone who persistently does well; same as the son in whom Father is well pleased. If you love him you will obey him and he will be to you all that you need. You need a revelation of Jesus.
Faith is the place where an ordinary man’s heart would fail them for fear. The Spirit of the Lord has come to strengthen you in your inner being and all the God will do goes way beyond human ability.
Contentious is selfish ambitions; God’s people deny themselves and would rather lose it. You must say no to self ambition. A seed is hard and calloused and lifeless, but when it submits itself to that death it will bring forth much fruit. If we are living in selfish ambitions than we will have anguish and distress; upon every soul that does evil.
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
I will stay in the glory and the honor and the peace and all that the world will tell me I should love and admire I will refuse. I will buy the truth and sell it not. All I want is Jesus.
The whole world lies in anguish and distress, they will not receive Jesus, they walk away from him. God is not saying draw not nigh; now he says come draw near and find a place in the throne room of grace where you will receive strength in time of need. His righteousness should be more important to you than food and clothing; you need supernatural strength to walk this way.
There is constantly a manifestation whether our repentance is true or if it is the sorrow of the world; do we wander back to our shame, or are we transformed and changed.
The Peril of Faith
It is risky business for sure and will make the strongest man fail for fear. It will take you to a fiery furnace, a lion’s den or stormy windy seas where death seems certain.
In this realm you can command prisoner’s to go free and demons to go out. That is how Jesus ministered. God is not interested in persuasive speeches, but is interested in someone getting baptized in the Holy Ghost and power being manifested. Moral and ethical accountability will increase; you need no man, quit looking to the arm of faith.
The disciples were on a stormy sea; in peril of their lives, obeying the masters command. if they had not kept at it they would never have seen Jesus revealed walking on the water.
This present suffering cannot even be compared to the glory which shall be revealed. The realm where Christ jesus dwells is the place of life. We are to eat the fruits of love and peace and joy continually. You must be willing to be tried about your self interest. God will examine all of your heart. he will do and say things which you cannot understand and he will see if you will obey. he will ask you to sacrifice your only son! Take all the promises of God and lay it upon an altar.
Finally be strong in the strength of the Lord and the power of his might; stand up and believe he has provided all for you.
The declarations of the word being spoken will impart faith. Bid me come, and at your word I will come.
Peter stepped out in the midst of that which threatened his life; where you go I will go too.
Real humility hears God’s word and says; Yes, I can do it too. The cup that Jesus drank of was the communion with the Father; you need to drink of the cup which he drank. Can you drink of the cup which I drink of; can you walk in this anointing and communion? Yes I can Lord. OK, then you can have it. It is the strength of the Lord and the power of his might which will not allow you to quit; Jesus said it is mine and I will not stop.
Mark 6:8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
10 And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.
God expects us to provide no provision from our own resources if we will serve him and he will provide beyond all of our expectations.
Look at Israel serving with rigor in Egypt and in one day they were made rich by spoiling the Egyptians. It was a scary and terrifying thing; a death angel is passing through the place and their only hope is blood on the doorpost; no proofs only the word of Aaron’s mouth. All they had received for the other words was to be made to work harder. Wow.
God is saying something like this to you and you refuse to sit still. God will work miracles for you.
In that place of communion you will get a glimpse of Jesus that you have never seen before and it is there that the certainty and the boldness arise in you. I will stand here if I die.
Jer 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,
19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
20 Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;
21 And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;
22 And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
23 And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:
24 Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
25 And thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
26 ΒΆ Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
IS ANYTHING TO HARD FOR ME; SAYS THE LORD.
